What you'll do

Here at Toolstation, we're delivering amazing success with our Digital and E-Commerce platforms. So this role is right at the heart of the action ensuring that product descriptions and categories are optimised for search engines. Within this role, you'll champion our brand's tone of voice and bring SEO expertise.


What you’ll do: 


Write and optimise our content.  You'll ensure our products are actively reaching their targets through effective SEO, improving keyword rank positions in Google and ultimately bringing traffic to the site. To do this, you will have a strong copy writing background and have a basic understanding of SEO.

Be a brand champion - you will live and breathe our brand and develop reflective content that helps customers choose our products and know our values.  You'll get how to keep them on the page and to convert a browser to a sale.

Provide competitive advantage. Through your keen eye for detail, working with the data provided as well as your own research, you'll help us  stay ahead of our competition.

Communication & Collaboration. You'll build relationships across the business, working with the product data team to gather missing data, you’ll help build category smart sheets working alongside our commercial team and suppliers to ensure all product updates are unique and on-brand.

SEO. You'll be working with tools such as GA, aHrefs, Similarweb or SEMRush & producing keyword category copies for SEO. You'll also carry out the strategic and methodical optimisation of product descriptions for SEO
